Spirit installs Europe’s first Interblock innovation

In Germany, Spielbanken Bayern’s Casino Bad Steben is now home to Europe’s very first Dealer Assist Blackjack electronic table game (ETG), which has been installed by Spirit Gaming, Interblock’s distribution partner in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

Commenting on the acquisition, Director for Casino Bad Steben, Udo Braunersreuther, said, “This is exactly what we have been looking for. As a smaller casino, we are now in the position to offer blackjack around the clock. That is a real benefit for us.”

Two key elements are combined in Dealer Assist BlackJack, which ensures all-day-everyday blackjack, the possibility that gamers are able to play with and without a dealer. There are a handful of player positions at Casino Bad and a camera that depicts live images of the playing cards onto individual terminals via the dealer table.

Commenting on the first, Hans Frankenbusch, head of systems technology at Spielbanken Bayern, said, “The management team is extremely impressed with Dealer Assist BlackJack and sees this as a real contribution in improving the gaming offer in the casino,” according to the iNTERGAME.

In late February and in March, the Slovania-based manufacturer and supplier of luxury ETG products’ casino Stadium gaming went live at Okada Manila located in Manila’s Entertainment City district, at Hollywood One Club located at Hạ Long Bay in Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam and at the Daegu Casino located in the Hotel Inter-Burgo DEAGU in the city of Daegu in North Gyeongsang Province.
